Around 10-15 original student-written articles on any topics related to the life sciences, in a variety of forms and styles. These are grouped into related themes, explained in an editorial for the issue. As a serious scientific publication, our articles frequently cite appropriate source material from broader literature to maintain integrity and allow for further reading - these references can be found at the rear of the magazine. A list of contributing editorial team members and their roles can be found on the final page, while writers are credited alongside their articles.
We publish any articles related to the life sciences, over a broad range of styles and topics. These can take the form of reviews, opinion pieces, interviews, accounts of personal experience, or any others. For each issue, we look for common themes to tie articles together to create an engaging flow.
We're aiming to publish biannually with around 10-15 articles per issue, depending on the frequency of submissions.
The magazine is primarily aimed at students with some background or interest in the life sciences. However, articles are written in a variety of styles, and some may be more or less accessible; we try to give writers some agency on this.
