ARTICLE PROPOSED & APPROVED
FIRST DRAFT ARTICLE REVIEWED
REDRAFT(S) WRITTEN & REVIEWED
MAGAZINE LAYOUT DESIGNED
FINAL DRAFT APPROVED & PROOFREAD
Anyone can contribute original articles on a free-lance basis.
The writer redrafts their article, responding to the comments provided.
Finally, the design team work to compile the articles into a cohesive publication, which undergoes a final proofread before being published.
An editor provides comments, which are peer reviewed by 2 other editors before being sent back to the writer.
They can be co-authored and on any topic within the life sciences.
Once a final draft is approved, the article is passed onto proofreaders to ensure consistent spelling, punctuation, grammar, and referencing.
It may take a few redrafts before a final draft is approved by the editors.
This year, we will be introducing a new core team of Writers to our society. These members will contribute articles regularly to our biannual issues, and produce shorter forms of written work for publishing to social media.
